DAVIC represented all ranges of the audiovisual industry, from the manufacturing of computers, entertainment electronics and telecommunications devices over suppliers from the range of the Broadcasting, telecommunications or the cable television (CATV) up to government organizations and research establishments. The DAVIC became,according to its statute, after five years closed.
